Now we are told to wait 'an undefined amount of time' while they search for the 'lost title'. Finally the replacement arrives, and now they cannot give it to us because they 'lost/don't have' the title and they cannot transfer the replacement 'slightly less expensive' vehicle. So, I won't go into the extremities "I can if needed", but they quickly helped us find a replacement that 'hopefully' was as described. ![]() We went back to the location to explain this car didn't have several of the clearly website advertised options, and was told not to worry "we will make it right". Once the car arrived, my family realized many of the clearly advertised features were not present. This company is a total joke! I ordered a $50k car that was listed with several options and features. I spent 3 days and $400 bucks on this deal just to end up with nothing. Spoke to a manager named Neil, I asked for the guys last name and he refused to provide it. The worst part is I paid $400 to get the car insured went through a headache to get this car registered with my apartments just to end up with nothing. How could 3 different sales people give me the wrong information. I was told by 3 different sales people that my 18% finance fee would be $3500.00 but the paper work said the 18% totaled to an $ 11, 000.00 additional charge. They offered me a 2021 Mitsubishi mirage for $18,988.00 but when it came time to sign the paper work the price changed to $35,000.00. We provided our own financing and declined an extended warranty, but it made no difference in the service that we received.Īll in all, a good experience and at a price lower than Carvana and all of the local dealers that we searched. CarMax transported the car in for free and after a quick test drive we purchased the car. Long story short, We decided on a Hyundai Elantra and after a search of the CarMax website we found the perfect one (2 years old and just 17K miles). At no time did we feel the pressure to buy, and the salesperson (Geoff) was both knowledgeable and friendly. As we were still trying to decide on which car to buy, we returned the following day to try our third choice. Unfortunately, due to the volume of shoppers, our test drive for the day was limited to two. The time was well spent checking out their large selection of cars and SUVs so when the sales person became available, we settled on a list of 3 cars. So much so, that being as we did not have an appointment we had to wait 45 minutes for a salesperson to free up. It was a Saturday afternoon and the weather was good, so they were packed with shoppers. ![]() Ultimately, we visited our local CarMax lot. We spent a few nights searching on, Carvana and several other sites. Last month I needed a car for my college-age daughter.
